      The second generation of a family of Amsterdam artists, Jacob Jan Coenraad Spohler and his brother Johannes Franciscus Spohler (1853–1894) were trained by their father, Jan Jacob Spohler (1811–1866). Like most Dutch landscapes, their town and country views, including this painting - Vue De Buiksloot Pres d'Amsterdam, usually feature bodies of water and people engaged in everyday activities.

Beautiful item ! exactly the way it was pictured and it is even more impressive than any picture posted. You really cannot appreciate this without seeing it in person. The paint literally leaps off the canvas and provides a very dynamic experience.
