"Sunset at Montclair" and "Sundown ," both from 1894, are cases in point, although neither is as strange as "Sunset" of 1893.

Beautiful item ! exactly the way it was pictured and it is even more impressive than any picture posted. You really cannot appreciate this without seeing it in person. The paint literally leaps off the canvas and provides a very dynamic experience.
